Leadership & Capability Development
Overview
CA’s Leadership Programmes enhance participants’ understanding of and alignment with Whole-of-Government (WOG) and Whole-of-Nation (WON) priorities. Cultural leaders will hone their leadership skills and deep dive into cross-sector research to support their professional growth. The programmes also foster strong inter-agency professional relations within and outside the MCCY family.
Future Leaders Programme (FLP)

5th FLP 2025
The 1-week Future Leaders Programme (FLP) is targeted at high-performing mid-level officers demonstrating leadership potential to assume higher management positions and aspiring to acquire broader perspectives on the Cultural and Creative Sectors.
The participants will gain a better understanding and appreciation of the operating context they are working in. Based on this knowledge, participants will then learn about how they can navigate the present context through a series of workshops, lectures and discussions on the importance of having sound leadership and governance practices, cultural sensitivities, and better stakeholder management. Participants will also learn to adapt and complement various leadership styles to lead teams effectively.
This week spent is more enriching than all the training programmes that I attended in academies and universities. It is my hope that CA will continue to grow and to offer more programmes for officers in the arts & culture sector.— FLP Participant from Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre
